SOLID, LIQUID, GAS
Solids are materials with a definite shape. They occupy a definite amount of space.
Their shape can't be changed easily by applying force or moving them to another place.
Ex: Ice, Stone, Table, Computer
Liquids are materials that can be poured into a container.
They take the shape of their container. They can flow from higher level to lower level.
Ex: Water, Oil, Milk etc.
Gases are materials that can spread the whole container.
When they come out of the container, they can mix with air. They don't have a definite shape.
Ex: Smoke, Steam, Air etc.
Ex: Water exists in all three states, ice in the solid state, water in the liquid state and water vapour(steam) in the gaseous state.
